Overview
Tanger Med Maritime Services provides towage, pilotage, bunkering and ship-agency services in the Strait of Gibraltar, one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world, through which over 100,000 vessels pass each year.
History
Formed in 2007 alongside the opening of the Tanger Med port complex.
Grew to a fleet of 28 tugs and 6 bunker barges by 2014.
Atlantic Capital Group acquired its controlling stake in 2015 in partnership with a Moroccan industrial family.
