Overview
Gulf Crescent Shipping owns and operates a fleet of 38 product tankers, chemical carriers and Supramax bulk vessels trading between the Arabian Gulf, the Indian subcontinent, East Africa and the Mediterranean.
History
Founded in 1975 at Port Rashid by the Al Maktoum-sponsored trading house Al Habtoor & Partners.
Moved into product tankers in the 1990s and dry bulk in the 2000s.
Atlantic Capital Group entered a joint venture in 2010, becoming majority owner.
